ASH 2015

Welcome to the ASH 2015

The American Society of Hematology (ASH) 57th Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL, USA will soon be upon us.

For more than five decades, the ASH annual meeting has served as the premier event for scientific exchange in the field of hematology. The American Society of Hematology (ASH) is the world’s largest professional society concerned with the causes and treatments of blood disorders. The mission of the Society is to further the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders affecting the blood, bone marrow, and the immunologic, hemostatic and vascular systems, by promoting research, clinical care, education, training, and advocacy in hematology.

Today, the Society’s annual meeting attracts more than 20,000 attendees from all over the world. Typically, more than 5,000 scientific abstracts are submitted each year and more than 3,000 abstracts are accepted for oral and poster presentations through an extensive peer review process. The Plenary Scientific Session, which includes the top six abstracts as selected by the Program Committee, is traditionally a highlight of the annual meeting program. This premier hematology event of the year offers an Education and Scientific Program that can help you stay up-to-date on the latest research, therapies, and tools you need in daily practice.

CongressUpdate Hematology provides you with a selection of the most important highlights of the Annual ASH Meeting by means of summaries of lectures, key slides and video-interviews with opinions of top clinicians that support your daily management of hematologic patients.
